Update (September 2017): great food and service. Friendly environment. Owner definitely wants to turn this place around from all the negativity it's experienced. Now they just need to stay consistent. Would recommend. Update (May 2017): food quality and service has increased a bit, but not entirely the best. (2015) Food is decent but service could be better.

The lady taking my order was very rude and snobby. I simply was asking if she needed the number/code to my coupon and she said no it’s on my screen very rudely. I then had my food. The pizza was very tasty but it was cut terribly and the box was shut on the pizza crust and ruined the pizza. The flatbread I also ordered was burn and not very good.

Great service by who I think was the manager during Covid. He was very nice and personable, even gave me extra pesto! Delish! Told me they are opening tomorrow for service so I will be back soon 😊

Nice tasting but over priced just for 6 slices sloppy appearance not cut right everything falling off never going back I’ll never recommend this place

Service here gets better every time. Food is prepared with care and delicious. They take extra care to ensure my allergy is not a risk. Prices are reasonable.

Excellent customer service.Upon my quality check, I expressed that I was not happy with the changes to my favorite sandwich on the menu. Without hesitation, the manager offered to replace my sandwich. It was as great as I remembered. Definitely will come back.

Nice place to go out with friends and share a good evening. Unfortunately, the take out experience I had was not as good as I expected. I placed an order through skip the dishes since I had a credit there, and picked it up myself. The order was done within the estimated time frame and I was notified by a phone call. I had Pistachio Pesto Primavera and my parter had the Abuzzo Pizza. Pasta alright and pizza could have turned better. The crust felt stale and the toppings with the sauce were too messy. I hope the service was not affected because of not placing the order directly though the restaurant. Thank you for the service!

It is quite expensive. We thought it is boiled eggs and go around for each piece. We don’t know how to share the egg york for every piece..lol It cost 2$ for AN EGG

What an awesome place to have a group. 18 of us in total and the staff worked to ensure everyone was treated the best. No delays with meals and the food was excellent. Definitely going back for another group get together. Thanks for the great service.

Great service, large variety of drinks and pizzas. You can tell how fresh and the high quality of ingredients used to prepare the food. Best place to get pizza in the city!

Birthday lunch at the Namao location was a great way to start the New YEAR!! Thanks Mettesh ( Hope I have the name correct) you are a wonderful server – attentive when you needed to be and left us alone to visit, for the 2 plus hours we were there visiting . We all enjoyed our meals – both the lunch pizza and pasta specials. I love the Prawns a La Diavolo – a yummy addition to your menu. Even tho it was a frigid day in Edmonton it was warm and toasty in the restaurant. We ALL enjoyed the Dessert Bday Pizza. THANKS AGAIN!! Brenda

Got told by server they offer kid size ice cream, we ordered 2 very small scope ice cream for our 2 kids , then and when we pay they charged us for 2 adult ice cream and said it's same price......, We paid and never go there again.

It's a pretty decent place to eat at. I have no complaints about it and the service was amazing. Dishes came out relatively fast and the food tastes pretty good.

Wouldn't accept a groupon at this location because we ordered from their daily menu specials/happy hour even though there was no such stipulation on the groupon or stated when ordering. I've used groupons for specials at other famosos so just be careful when doing so at this location in particular. Also the manager was an absolute coward making the servers tell us and not coming to the table to handle the issue (him/her)self when we asked the server to double check with them twice.EDIT - Since getting a refund from groupon they took it up with the management at this location and at the very least got it stated in the groupon now that it's not to be used with any promo pricing so thats a plus

Staff was friendly and quick to provide service. Restaurant was clean and atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Food was hot and fresh but lacking a bit of extra flavor. Pizza crust was a little soggy in the centre.

Certainly a place worth stopping by, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the pricing is fair and it is always neat here. Keep up the good work.

Lots of seating and good decor. I ordered two large pizzas and shared with two friends and felt quite satisfied. The margarita pizza was simple and delicious. The other was the seasonal pizza Diablo which tasted a bit bland despite having many toppings and Parmesan shaken on top.Lastly, the service was quick and polite; no complaints here.

This is one of my favourite places to get pizza! I made the "mistake" or ordering pasta and was underwhelmed, but the food in general is excellent!

There is new ownership at this location. I ordered a margherita pizza with vine tomatoes and avocado. The vine tomatoes were diced into uneven pieces, which is not how any of my other Famoso or any other pizza place experiences have been. When I first got the pizza it smelled kind of funny. The pizza was a little cold and I thought that might be it so I asked to have my pizza reheated. Afterward, the pizza was warmer, but still tasted and smelled kind of strange, like something was spoiled, but I couldn't pinpoint it. The owner offered me a free pizza to go. He also did not charge me for the pizza even though I offered to pay. I'm not sure I'll come back to this location, but they tried to make amends, which is nice.

Had a wonderful experience with our server! He was extremely welcoming and humorous! The food was good - ordered the famoso salad. Great place for lunch

Yummy soup. And pizza obviously. Make your own or choose from the menu.They serve liquor here. Lunch menu available. Lots of skip the dishes take out while we ate in.

Decent pizza. I had the meat lovers and I found the sauce to be a bit bland. The service was great and my son was treated very well.

Came for dinner with a party of six. Service was good but could have been more attentive on drinks (Those drinking alcohol were asked for refills, those that weren't, were not). Food was good but the pizza was noted to be a bit doughy and one edge was slightly burnt, but that did not negatively impact the flavour of the food. Portion sizes were good for adults, there were no leftovers in our group and we were various ages and body types. Overall good experience but not a place I would frequent.

I love their staff always smiling. Thank you guys you really do a great job.
